PRIVACY, GDPR AND COOKIE POLICIES
No personal information is collected from this website without your consent. When you use our contact forms, details entered are not available on our website, or shared beyond our staff and are stored safely.
We do not share, sell, or make available your personal data for any reason, other than in the normal course of business. Details will only be shared at your request, such as to facilitate an ATA Carnet.
Whether you contact us for an ATA Carnet, or for advice, access to your details is carefully managed. We treat all personal data with respect and as required under the Data Protection Act 1998.
Protection has been extended since May 2018, by EU wide, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This gives individuals more choice and control over how their personal data is used, along with requiring use to be fair and transparent.
The focus of regulation is on complex data gathering, profiling and consent. Whilst we only gather personal data as part of an open, essential transaction, following regulation as far as this applies still makes sense.
General Privacy Policy
The privacy of our customers should be and is our first commitment. You are the rightful owners of your details, plans and actions, not least where this may involve business sensitive, international travel.
This principle is extended to discussions we have, notes which are taken, or electronic correspondence. Clients have a right to privacy at all times.
Our staff are trained to respect this and as importantly, in procedures which help ensure privacy. The same intent is given to document management, on paper, or electronic and to the running of our website.
If you do not want information shared within the company please specify so before sharing it with Optimos. It will never be shared externally unless specified so previously.
Data Protection & GDPR
The data controller for information collected via this website is Optimos Carnets.
Our lawful basis for processing your data is legitimate interest in meeting client requests and that potential clients freely provided their data. This is retained as long as needed and may be kept on record for future transactions.
You should be aware of your rights under GDPR:
Know what information is collected and how – In this case supplied by you, via a form, or email.
Understand how data is used – Dynamic Dox only use personal, or business data to fulfil ATA carnets.
To access your data within one month of making a request, have corrections made, or the data deleted.
Be aware if data will be shared – Other than internally, data may be shared with carnet issuing authorities.
If there will be an effect on individuals – This applies more to social, or ad data, we know of no direct effect.
Not to be subject to automated decision making, or profiling – Again, more ad, or social network related.
Should you have questions on GDPR compliance, please contact us. If any person is unhappy with the way their data is being handled, they also have a right complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
